Absolutely! I believe that location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that you love and feel comfortable at.

What's more important is what not to wear. Steer clear of bright, neon, or distracting colors. Sometimes these colors reflect onto other surfaces such as your skin and may look unflattering. I always recommend wearing outfits that make you feel confident, comfortable, and true to yourself. Neutral tones, soft colors, and simple patterns photograph beautifully and allow the focus to stay on your connection. Flowy dresses, layered textures, and well-fitted clothing can add depth and movement to your photos.

The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type of shoot you want and the package you want (if applicable). Portrait sessions typically range anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, while weddings can span several hours. I strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.

I know being photographed can feel a little intimidating at first, but my goal is to make the experience easy, natural, and even fun. I’ll give you gentle direction when needed—like how to stand or where to place your hands—but I’ll never force stiff or unnatural poses. Instead, I focus on creating moments that feel real, whether that’s walking together, sharing a quiet laugh, or simply holding each other close.

I like to keep things lighthearted, so there will be plenty of laughs along the way. Many couples tell me it feels less like a photo shoot and more like spending time together while I just happen to be there with a camera. By the end, you’ll be surprised at how relaxed you feel—and how much the photos reflect your genuine connection.

I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. My editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. Weddings will have about a 5-6 week turnaround. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations. But if I have absolutely nothing taking up my time, you could receive your photos within 48 hours!

Photography is not a one-size-fits-all deal. You can really have any shoot whenever you want, especially if you are looking for a studio environment. But I have a very in-depth document that lays out what the most common months, days, and even the best times of day for each kind of session. I even take Central Time daylight savings into account! As long as you let me know as soon as you can, we will find another day; however, anything within 24 hours before the shoot may incur a "last minute rescheduling" fee. I understand last minute changes happen, but there is a lot of preparation that goes into getting ready for each session. As for weather, if it doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss other alternatives first such as finding an indoor location.

I would LOVE to! I typically will not charge for any wedding within the State of Missouri. However, other sessions may incur a travel fee to put towards gas costs. Anything outside of the State of Missouri will definitely have a travel fee, but I will always strive to seek out the cheapest way to get to where you need me to be. If that means having an 8 hour layover just to save you a couple hundred dollars, I will do it!
